GLOBE 2012 hosted a number of high-profile networking functions, social events and business development activities to provide delegates with exceptional opportunities to meet people, exchange views, network and conduct business.

WELCOME RECEPTION HOSTED BY THE PACIFIC COAST COLLABORATIVE
 The Pacific Coast Collaborative-hosted Welcome Reception to GLOBE 2012 kicked off with an evening designed around great food and celebration. Networking with fellow attendees while enjoying hors d'oeuvres inspired by West Coast regional cuisine was the order of the evening. Thoughts were shared and leaders of the environmental business community met and networked the evening away.

GLOBE AFTER HOURS RECEPTIONS

This late evening mixer provided a relaxed social environment where delegates continued to meet, share stories, and make business connections over smart cocktails and decadent desserts. 

More than 200 delegates attended our authentic Irish pub experience. Delegates were able to unwind over a drink, enjoy delicious snacks, and take in the spectacular view of the harbour.

NETWORKING BREAKFAST

A healthy breakfast and lively discussion on the future of sustainability kicked off morning two. This complimentary breakfast was open to registered delegates only on a first-come, first-serve basis.  A full house!

WOMEN'S NETWORKING LUNCH

Delegates interacted with a dynamite panel of influential women as they shared their perspectives on sustainability. Another full house! This complimentary luncheon was open to registered conference delegates only on a first-come, first-serve basis.

GLOBE 2012 LUNCHEON - 10th ANNUAL GLOBE AWARDS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE
 

The GLOBE Awards for Environmental Excellence are presented annually to extraordinary companies and industry groups who have managed to balance competitive business strategies and sustainable development. Now in their 11th edition, these prestigious awards recognize outstanding achievement in environmental stewardship in Canada.

Winners of the 2012 edition were announced March 16 in Vancouver during the GLOBE 2012 Luncheon. The Luncheon was the perfect opportunity to mingle with, and develop a network of like-minded individuals and professionals of the sustainability sectors.
